The war in Iraq was never a pre-emptive war. From the beginning it was a war about oil, vendettas, and about vengeance, and the American people were deceived by George W. Bush and his government. No weapons of mass destruction were ever found in Iraq, so the alleged reason for going to war was a obviously a farce. There is no way to calculate the damage that has been done to Iraq or to the United States, and still the Bush administration refuses to back down.
We\’ve become a nation of cliches and patriotic lingo rather than common sense with the term "cut and run" marking the advent of of our downfall. We obviously didn\’t learn a thing from Viet Nam. 9/11 was a time for nations to come together and face terrorism head on as one great entity, and in choosing to go to war virtually alone we assured there would never be peace.
Britain is about to bring its troops home, and if the American people truly want to support our troops, they\’ll begin to work toward the same end. The problem of terrorism will never be solved by meeting violence with violence. It\’s going to take those great minds who understand that the world must live together or we all fall coming together to bring this chapter to a close.

I have my opinions about the war. They all involve the American govt being a bunch of greedy bastards who have tunnel vision and can only see their goal, not the destruction they\’ve caused. They can try and convince everyone it\’s for the greater good, but unless you\’re a white male living in a certain tax bracket, chances are, it\’s not going to help you. I\’m reminded of a sign I\’ve seen on more than one occasion: "Bombing for peace is like f*cking for virginity."
